Kobe is 7!

Kobe was a lucky boy this year for his birthday......he was able to celebrate his birthday 4 days in a row! On Thursday, January 23rd he had a glow birthday party at Pump-It-Up. Friday he brought cookies to his class in school and his teacher Mrs. Montes and classmates celebrated his birthday. On Saturday it was his real birthday and we did our tradition of putting candles on a birthday breakfast and singing happy birthday. Kobe also opened his gift from Grandma & Grandpa Pound on his birthday (a very cool quilt grandma made with pictures of when the boys dressed up as Mario characters on it). We also Skyped with Grandma & Grandpa Pound so they could wish Kobe a happy birthday face to face :) And that night, as another family tradition, we let Kobe pick where he wanted to eat dinner......he chose Panda Express (no shock there! hahaha!). On Sunday the 26th, we followed another tradition, and Grandma Murray made Kobe a Sunday family birthday dinner and cake. When Grandma Murray asked Kobe what he wanted for dinner he said salad! So we had Cesar salad and another favorite of his.....ribs! This 4-day birthday thing is going to be hard to live up to next year! Happy, happy to my smart and sweet Kobe!
